Theory of the circle and theory of physique and vitality are important propositions in traditional Chinese philoso-phy,which is one of the unique academic ideological in traditional Chinese medicine. Theory of the circle embodies the concept of holism and constant moving;theory of physique and vitality emphasizes the one spirit with physique and vitality. The two theories are closely linked. In recent years, with the development of molecular biology, the study of cellular level is deeper. In many cases, the cell morphology will be presented change with a round or circular, cell shape change has a huge impact on cell function. How-ever, there are no studies to illustrate that cell showed round change for the significance of the cell. Theory of the circle and theory of physique and vitality may provide ideas to illustrate this phenomenon.
