Ir（acac）（cod）was synthesized in one-step process from [Ir（cod）Cl]2 in tetrahydrofuran by adding Hacac as the anion ligand. The yield was 88.6%. Structure of the complexes have been represented by the structural analytical methods like elemental analysis,1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR, then their chemical construction were confirmed finally.
