利用多种大气和海温资料,通过相关、合成分析以及个例对比分析,重点研究了热带印度洋偶极型海温模态对热带大气季节内振荡传播的可能影响。结果表明:东南印度洋30。60天OLR距平及赤道印度洋中部30—60天850hPa纬向风距平都与偶极子指数显著相关;印度洋正(负)偶极型海温模态对应的东印度洋异常冷(暖)水以及赤道印度洋中部850hPa东(西)风距平阻碍(促进)了季节内对流活动的持续性东传,使得MJO的传播在赤道东印度洋.西太平洋发生明显的中断(持续)。
Based on multiple datasets, correlation and composite analyses, and case studies, this paper investigated the possible influences of Indian Ocean dipole (IOD) modes on the eastward propagation of intraseasonal oscillation in the tropical atmosphere. The results showed that (1) the 30- 60-day outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) anomalies in the southeastem Indian Ocean and the 30- 60-day 850 hPa zonal wind anomalies over the equatorial central Indian Ocean were significantly correlated with the IOD index; (2) during positive IOD years, the anomalously cold water in the southeastern Indian Ocean and the 850 hPa anomalous easterlies over the central equatorial Indian Ocean might act as barriers to the continuous eastward propagation of the intraseasonal convection, which interrupts the Madden-Julian oscillation (MJO) propagation in the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean and western Pacific; (3) during negative IOD years, the anomalously warm water in the southeastern Indian Ocean and the low-level anomalous westerlies over the central equatorial Indian Ocean may lead to the eastward movement of MJO.
