Adoption of new agricultural varieties is an important way to improve the efficiency of agricultural production and farmer＇ s income. According to the survey data on 279 farmers in Huaxia, Henan Province, this paper empirically analyzed the influence factors of farmers, adoption behavior of new maize varieties by using the binary Logistic model. The results the showed that farmers＇ educational level, whether or not demonstration family, the main source of household income, maize planting area, farmers＇ awareness of new varieties, farmers＇ risk attitude as well as the times to contract with agricultural inspectors all had significantly positive effects on adoption of new maize varieties. While whether the family has cadres had significantly negative effects on the adoption of new varieties.
