There are some different methods for earthwork calculation, such as square grid, section, contour, DEM method, and so on. This paper has applied the square grid method to deal with the calculation of earthwork for Gaofu Industry Area. Different terrain slope is discussed mainly in this paper to obtain different results. The reasonable choice can be made according to Gaofu Industry Area.
