According to the development trend of the modern air-jet looms,the global structure design of technical parameter expert system for air-jet loom based on distributed database was presented to realize the intelligent design of processing parameters for air-jet looms.In the paper,the distributed system structure was designed.Based on the database,the knowledge database was built and the simplified design of the inference engine was realized.And the data synchronization over the windows based on the database and the relational database of windows CE embedded was implemented.The intelligentized default of the processing parameters for air-jet looms in the system owns the characteristics of open and easy operation.
