颗粒团聚体在聚合物基体中的分散效果,对加工聚合物基颗粒增强复合材料具有重要意义。为了研究颗粒团聚体的分散机理以及动态细节,使用自开发的离散元法软件DEMix3D,模拟了团聚体在剪切流场作用下的变形、破裂过程。研究表明,分散初始阶段颗粒沿着受力方向移动,使团聚体变形,当变形量达到一定程度时,出现了颗粒的剥蚀和团聚体的破碎,团聚体分散出单个颗粒或颗粒聚集体碎片;颗粒团聚体分散达到平衡状态时的分散度随剪切流场强度的提高而降低,但分散度的降低幅度在减小。
The dispersion effect of particulate agglomerates in polymer matrix is important for processing of polymer based particulate reinforced composites. In order to study dispersive mechanism and dynamic details of particulate agglomerates, a discrete element method program Demix3D was developed to simulate the process of deforming and fracturing of particulate agglomerates in steady shear flow fields. The result showed that: at this early stage of dispersion the agglomerates moved along the direction of the force and were deformed; when the amount of deformation reached a certain level, there existed the denudation of particulates and the rupture of agglomerates which dispersed into individual grains or chips of particulate agglomerates; when the dispersion of particulate agglomerates was in equilibrium, the dispersion capacity of the agglomerates decreased with increasing the intensity of flow field but the degree of the decrease in reduced.
