The incompressible flow with constant shear viscosity through a symmetric expansion is studied numerically. The geometry model is given as a ratio of diameter of tube, especially upstream and downstream. The bifurcation-breakup is a common phenomenon in expansion simulation. Newtonian fluid, water, is used for validity. For non-Ncwtonian case the transition process is analyzed, using Herschel-Bulkley model. Detailed simulations are carried out in form of streamline plots, bifurcation diagrams, vortex length, pressure distribution and velocity profiles.
