Taking Arundina graminifolia as material, the scavenging activities of different part extracts from it on DPPH free radical was investigated. The results showed that different parrs of Arundina graminifolia all had strong antioxidant activity. The ICs0 values of root, stem, leaves were 0. 03869,0. 04976,0. 02966 mg/mL, respectively; the maximum scavenging rate was 85.26M for root, 84. 75% for stem and 90. 41% for leaves; the antioxidant capacity was observed in the following order： leaves〉root〉stem.
