In oil-gas exploration, the pressure prediction mainly depends on seismic velocity spectrum,but the precision of seismic velocity is lower. At the same time on account of various factors affecting velocity analysis and excessive abnormities in velocity spectrum, the reliability of seismic velocity should be confirmed and velocity data should be correct in pressure prediction. In this paper, the technique of Median Filter is offered to eliminate velocity abnormities effectively in seismic data and to improve accuracy of pressure prediction.
