A fuzzy discrimination algorithm based on average packet loss ratio difference （ALRD） is presented by analyzing the probability distribution characteristics of ALRD of the wireless losses and the congestion losses in wired/wireless network. The algorithm is used to drscriminate the losses. Simulation results show that the algorithm is effective.
