Wireless network connections are unstable,and signal strength varies in a large range under the environment of mobile Internet,so the streaming media in bus surveillance system is facing challenge of balancing real-time playing and quality of service（QoS）. Focusing on these problems in the intelligent transportation field,this paper has proposed an improved structure of the bus surveillance system based on analyzing the key factors to improve the system performance. This paper has developed a self-adaption algorithm based on the QoS of streaming media,designed and deployed the bus surveillance system,and verified the effectiveness of the algorithm through experiments.
