Mo content in the MoO3/SiO2 catalyst for synthesis of diphenyl carbonate from phenol and dimethyl oxalate by transesterification was determined by ICP-OES（inductively coupled plasma optic emission spectroscopy） method.The results showed that ICP-OES method was precision,convenient and rapid.Under the optimum experimental conditions,the detection limit and relative standard deviation was 7.5×10-4 mg/L and 0.205%,respectively,while the recovery was in the range of 98 to 104%.
