通过对昆山白莲湖西部一剖面产出的牡蛎层及邻近层位有孔虫化石的鉴定与定量统计分析,并结合沉积物的岩性特征及牡蛎壳体AMS^14C测年数据,揭示了牡蛎层的形成年代及其代表的古环境。研究结果表明,牡蛎层形成于7230aBP,其所含的牡蛎与有孔虫群落显示此时为水动力相对较弱的半开放半咸水泻湖环境。
Based on the study of oyster shells, benthic foraminifera, lithology and AMS ^14C dating, this paper reveals the age of the oyster layer at the western Bailian lake, Kunshan, Jiangsu Province and its palaeoenvironment. The results indicate that the oyster layer is made up of Ostrea gigas, which were living under a lagoon environment with weak hydrodynamic conditions -7 kys ago, when an elevated sea level happened during the Middle Holocene.
