许多研究显示自由基与糖尿病的发生和发展有密切的关系。在本实验室前期工作的基础上,以筛选得到的抗氧化成分玫瑰花(MC)和鲍鱼菇(BC)处理实验性糖尿病小鼠。结果表明:MC、BC可显著降低糖尿病小鼠死亡率和空腹血糖。同时MC处理使糖尿病小鼠的肝、脑和肾等组织过氧化氢酶(catalase,CAT)酶活显著升高。提示氧化应与糖尿病发生间存在一定的关系,这为MC和BC在防治糖尿病方面的开发与应用奠定了一定的理论基础。
Many researches showed that the development of diabetes had a deep relationship with oxidant stress. In the present study, effects of the extracts of rosa rugosa Thunb (MC) and pleurotus abalones(BC) on the plasma glucose levels and antioxidant levels were investigated in alloxan induced diabetic mice. Oral administration of extracts produced some antihyperglycaemic and antioxidant effects. Comparing with the diabetic control group, the mortality and plasma glucose of treated groups were significantly reduced. In addition, the activities of CAT(catalase) were raised in organisms of MC treated group. These results demonstrated the relationship between oxidant stress and diabetes and which laid the foundation for the ap- plication of MC and BC in controlling the development of diabetes.
