Objective To study the chemical constituents of Cynanchum amplexicaule Sieb.et Zucc.Methods The compounds were separated and purified by column chromatography and their structures were established by spectroscopic methods.Results Five compounds were isolated from Cynanchum amplexicaule Sieb.et Zucc.,whose structures were determined as descurainin（1）,saropeptate（2）,（＋）-syringaresinol（3）,（-）-lyoniresinol 3α-O-β-D-glucopyranoside（4） and n-butyl-β-D-fructopyranoside（5）.Conclusions Compounds 1-5 were isolated from Cynanchum amplexicaule Sieb.et Zucc.for the first time.
