MR引导下聚焦超声刀(MRg FUS)是一种无创、可实施三维成像并利用MR功能软件对肿瘤消融部位进行实时温度监测的治疗方法,在前列腺癌、肾癌及肝癌等恶性肿瘤消融治疗过程中已得到广泛应用,并取得良好的治疗效果。但其对病变组织治疗的同时,高的能量也会损伤周围正常组织,使用超顺磁性氧化铁(SPIO)作为增敏剂可显著提高肿瘤消融的效率,并有效减少周围组织的损伤。就MRg FUS在临床治疗中的应用以及SPIO在肿瘤消融中的增敏作用予以综述。
Magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound surgery(MRg FUS) is an non-invasive imaging tool, which enables three-dimensional imaging and real-time monitoring temperature during tumor ablation using MR function software. It has been utilized in the treatment of cancer in prostate, kidney, and liver. However, high acoustic energy could cause damage to normal surrounding tissues in the process of ultrasound. Nanosized theranostic SPIO nanoplatform can improve tumor-ablative efficacy of MRg FUS system and reduce injury to the normal tissue surrounding the tumor. This article aimed at making an evaluation and overview concerning clinical application and synergistic effect of SPIO in MRg FUS.
