The Optical Transport Network has be widely used in Chinese railway.OTN has multiple protection mechanism and SDH also has its self-recovery protection mechanism.How to coordinate their protection mechanisms remains as a major issue.Therefore the coordination technology for those protection mechanisms is studied and some precautions in practical application are summed up.
