英文摘要：

The scale system has been one of the focus of the theoretical study and the practical application of analytic hierarchy process （AHP）. Firstly, the concept and properties of several common reciprocal scales are reviewed, and the difference between these scales is compared. Secondly, the concepts and properties of several kinds of commonly used complementary scales are introduced, and the conversion problem between the reciprocal and complementary scale is discussed. Thirdly, the concept and properties of interval number type scale are introduced. The results review recent theoretic studies and applications of scale system and points out future research directions.
