Biodiesel is one of green renewable resources,and it does little harm to environment. More and more attentions were focused on it. The catalytic materials were introduced for biodiesel preparation using waste oil, inclu- ding solid acid catalysts, solid base catalysts and ionic liquid catalyst. Moreover, the development of biodiesel cata- lysts was discussed.
