Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a common mental deficiency in children, who suffer from learning difficulties, behaVior disorders and low self-esteem. The central stimulants such as Methylphenidate and other stimulants such as atomoxetine are commonly used drug therapy, many children improved behavior or cognitive capabilities after the therapy. However, it is difficult to determine the dosage, while side effects and rebound are also reported. This reviews treatments on attention deficit hyperactivity disorders in order to provide reference for developing new drugs.
