随着分子生物学技术的发展，对于褪黑激素的研究日渐增多。研究发现，褪黑激素不仅是一种由松果体分泌的神经内分泌激素，而且在动物机体繁殖中的重要性也逐渐被人们认识。为了给褪黑激素的后续研究和在实践生产中的应用提供参考，本文从国内外学者对褪黑激素的合成代谢、与光照的互作关系、对羊生殖活动的影响和应用的研究以及褪黑激素受体在羊生殖活动中的作用和调控的研究进展这四个方面进行综述，说明褪黑激素及其受体在机体繁殖方面的重要性。

In recent years, with the development of molecular biology, the research on melatonin is increasing. It is found that melatonin is a neuroendocrine hormone secreted by the pineal gland, whose importance in animal reproduction is gradually being recognized. To provide reference for follow-up study on melatonin and its application in reproduction, this paper reviews the four aspects of relevant study both from home and abroad, including anabolism of melatonin, interaction with light, influence and application in sheep reproduction and the role and regulation of its receptor in sheep reproduction, and illustrates the importance of melatonin and its receptor in reproduction.
