利用太赫兹时域光谱技术研究了还原型及氧化型谷胱甘肽在0.2-1.4THz波段的光谱特性,结果显示它们在测量波段表现出不同的吸收位置和吸收强度,同时折射率也表现出明显的差异,表明THz波对它们结构的变化有灵敏响应。研究提示太赫兹时域光谱技术作为一种新的光谱研究手段具有用于多肽及蛋白质等生物大分子结构与功能研究的潜力。
Far-infrared absorption spectra and refractive indices of reduced and oxidized L-glutathione have been measured by terabertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) in the frequency range of 0.2- 1.4 THz at room temperature. The experimental results show that there are distinct absorption peaks and intensity of THz spectra between reduced and oxidized L-glutathione, each of them also has different refractive indices. Therefore, THz is highly sensitive to molecular structures. The study suggests that as a new method of spectroscopy research, THz-TDS has great potential in detection of the structure and function of biological molecules such as peptide and protein.
