China＇s Famous scenic sites, as an important carrier of ＂Beautiful China＂ and showcases ecological civilization, is therefore an important object of the ecological civilization construetion. China＇s famous scenic site planning based on the requirements of ecological civilization should regard implementing ecological civilization as a fundamental guiding principle firstly. On planning system, scenic resource space should be reserved. In planning approach, development should be based on the environment capacity and district division should be based on its function. On the content side, the planning should strengthen the details like scenic resource ecological value assessment, ecological upbringing, ecological restoration and eco-environment assessment of implementation of planning. And a quantitative assessment mechanism of implementation that highlights ecological benefits should be built. Finally, it is necessary to perfect the structure of the personnel and knowledge of China＇s famous scenic site planning.
