By introducing detailed steps of set up literature data analysis system for new drug research and development （ R ＆ D）, this paper provided literature data utilization method for traditional Chinese Medicine researchers. First, excellent clinical literature about the disease were obtained through scoring and evaluating literatures. Second, the screening method of active ingredients of Chinese medicine and the combination method of chemistry components of Chinese medicine were put forward. Third, the literature data analysis system for new drug R ＆ D was development and distribution. The literature data analysis system for new drug R ＆ D will support modernization of Chinese medicine research greatly.
