In recent 20 years, industrial clusters have become an engine of local economy. This paper summarizes the general upgrading patterns of industrial clusters and points out the distinctiveness of Jingdezhen ceramic industrial cluster＇s upgrading. It does not have the advantage of scale and the competition for lower cost leads to its dependence on imitation of originality. The rise of creative ceramic cultural industry fills the traditional cluster with new energy and gives an impetus to its upgrading. This paper explores the characteristic ways to upgrade Jingdezhen ceramic industrial cluster through the integration of culture, art and commerce.
