With the emergence of the tide of study abroad in China, the choice to study abroad have aroused widespread concern among scholars and policy makers, but the factors influencing the students' intentions to study abroad are still far from revealed. In this paper, based on the survey of college students in Beijing in 2012, we study the influence factors containing individual characteristics, family background, school characteristics, individual academic performance, and individual value concept through logit regression. We find that those students with better family background, higher level of college they attend and better academic performance have stronger intentions to study abroad. In controlling of other variables, the individual value concept have significant effect on the choice to study abroad. Those with lower level evaluation on Chinese govemment and society have stronger desire to study abroad. In addition, the members of the Chinese Communist Party, and the students with no western religions belief have lower intentions to study abroad.
