We calculated the h-index,g-index and hg-index of 21 Nobel winners in Physics and Medicine or Physiology areas in the period of 2006-2009,then sorted them by h-index,g-index and hg-index respectively and examined whether the ranking of sorting by hg index is better than by h-index and g-index,so as to provide a more reasonable index to evaluate the scientific output of researchers.
