The annual runoff trend in Nuxia Station of the middle-lower Yarlung Zangbo River was analyzed by the sliding average method, Spearman rank correlation test and Kendall rank correlation test method in 1956--2009. The results show that the annual runoff has a significant tendency to rise in 1956--1965 ; it exists a fluctuation change and the change is small during 1966--1991 ; the annual runoff has significantly in- crease during 1992--2003 and; it has a smaller decline trend after 2004.
