A new analyzing method,mean analysis,is proposed to do research on the relation between the mechanical properties and the chemical composition of high-strength low-alloy steel.It also uses curve fitting of mean to reduce mistakes.A kind of steel of Chongqing Steel Institute is taken as an example to test the effect,and an optimization configuration of the steel is obtained.
