基于幅移键控/频移键控(ASK/FSK)正交调制光标记交换(0LS)系统工作原理,提出了一种利用光带通滤波器(OBPF)对FSK标记进行谱均衡的方法,从而有效改善ASK净荷接收灵敏度。利用仿真,对40Gb/sASK/FSK正交调制OLS系统,在使用3种不同类型OBPF进行谱均衡时的传输性能进行了验证与比较分析。结果表明,采用24GHz带宽巴特沃茨(Butterworth)滤波器可得到最佳谱均衡效果,使ASK信号接收灵敏度提高1.2dB,光信噪比(OSNR)性能提高0.5dB。
A novel scheme of spectrum equalization for effectively improving receiving responsibility of amplitude shift keying (ASK) payload by applying an optical band-pass filter (OBPF) is proposed, which is utilized in amplitude shift keying/frequency shift keying (ASK/FSK) orthogonal modulation optical label switching system. The transmission performances of 40 Gbit/s ASK/FSK optical label switching system with three types of OBPFs are demonstrated and compared by simulations. The results reveal that a Butterworth filter with 24 GHz bandwidth shows the optimal spectrum equalization characteristics:1. 2 dB power penalty and 0. 5 dB optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) penalty of the ASK payload could be obtained.
