目的 为测量早期动脉粥样硬化血管壁的炎症反应,本文提出和验证在体测量薄血管壁T1值的MRI新方法。资料与方法 将双反转恢复序列与多翻转角技术相结合,即利用双反转恢复序列"压血",多翻转角技术采集数据,得到多幅具有不同T1加权对比度的黑血图像,并拟合得到T1值。在3.0T MRI上,对10例健康志愿者进行2次右颈总动脉成像。分别采用先平均后拟合和先拟合后平均两种方法计算血管壁T1值,并进行可重复性和相关性分析。结果 本方法成功测量了所有受试者的正常右颈总动脉血管壁T1值,验证了其在体测量薄血管壁T1值的可行性。由先平均后拟合法得到的T1值为(833.2±81.2)ms,组内相关系数为0.629(P〈0.05);由先拟合后平均法得到的T1值为(797.2±116.6)ms,组内相关系数为0.53(7P〈0.05)。两种方法测得T1值呈显著正相关(r=0.667,P〈0.05),其均值差异无统计学意义(t=1.468,P〉0.05)。结论 利用本方法在体测量薄血管壁T1值的可行性和可重复性较好,将来有望应用于早期动脉粥样硬化的血管壁定量化研究及斑块成分的在体识别研究。
Purpose To evaluate inflammation in early atherosclerotic vessel walls,a new in vivo T1 measurement of vessel wall is proposed and investigated.Materials and Methods Double inversion recovery and variable flip angle technique were combined to suppress the blood signal and to sample data.Black blood images with different T1weightings were acquired and fitted to calculate the T1 value.The right common carotid arteries in 10 healthy volunteers were imaged twice using a 3.0T MR scanner.The T1 value of the vessel wall was calculated using "average and fit" as well as "fit and average" methods.The reproducibility and correlation of these two methods were analyzed.Results The T1 value was successfully measured in all the volunteers to prove its feasibility for in vivo thin vessel wall.T1 value of right common carotid vessel wall using the "average and fit" method was(833.2±81.2) ms,and the intra-class correlation coefficient was 0.629(P<0.05);while T1 value from "fit and average" method was(797.2±116.6) ms,and the intra-class correlation coefficient was 0.537(P<0.05).T1 value of the above two methods showed positive correlation(r=0.667,P<0.05).No significant difference was shown between them(t=1.468,P>0.05).Conclusion The proposed T1 measurement method for vessel wall shows good feasibility and reproducibility,and is promising to quantitatively assess the characteristics of early atherosclerotic lesions,and to identify plaque contents.
