Chenkun YIN received his double bachelor degree majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Finance from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2003, and his master degree in Financial Mathematics from Shandong University, China, in 2006. Now he is a Ph.D. candidate in Beijing Jiaotong University, China. His current research interests include iterafive learning control, data-driven control, and adaptive control. He attended the University of Tokyo, Japan, where he received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees in 1986 and 1989, respectively. All his degrees are in Electrical Engineering. He worked for one year in Hitachi Research Laboratory, Japan, one year in Ohio State University as a visiting scholar, and 6 months at Yale University as a visiting research fellow. In 1991, he joined theNational University of Singapore, and is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests include learning control, variable structure control, and machine learning. He has produced 130 peer reviewed journal papers, more than 230 peerrefereed conference papers, two monographs and three edited books published by Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic Press, and World Scientific.
