As an important evaluation index of the ecological residential quarters in Lingnan area,＂water with plants＂ model has brought increasing contradiction with the year-round mosquito problem.Main reasons for this problem were analyzed based on outdoor environment design,corresponding measures including multi-functional water system,dual purpose waterscape and plants selection and allocation for better mosquito control effect in the residential quarters were put forward,aiming at both of ＂less mosquito＂and ＂better landscape experience＂ in residential quarter.
