目的评价正常前列腺组织吸入混合气(95%O2/5%CO2)状态下磁共振血氧水平依赖(blood oxygen level-dependent,BOLD)成像的可行性及前列腺中央腺区和外周带的磁共振信号强度-时间变化的差异性。方法35例健康志愿者,在吸入混合气(95%O2/5%CO2)状态下行前列腺磁共振EPI成像。在吸入空气和混合气交替变化的不同时段采集图像,在工作站处理生成正常前列腺中央腺区和外周带信号强度-时间变化曲线,分别计算吸入混合气前后信号强度平均增加率,将数据进行统计学分析。结果正常前列腺组织的中央腺区和外周带在吸入混合气状态下信号强度均增加,中央腺区信号强度的增加明显高于外周带(t=5.392,P〈0.05)。结论吸入混合气状态下对正常前列腺组织行BOLD成像是可行的,且能很好地反映正常前列腺中央腺区和外周带信号强度-时间变化的差异。
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of blood oxygen level-dependent (BOLD) MR imaging during carbogen inhalation in normal prostate tissue and the difference of signal-time changes betwee peripheral zone(PZ) and central zone( CZ) of prostate. Methods BOLD-fMRI was performed using a 1.5 Tesla superconducting magnetic scanner (Siemens) equipped with a pelvic phased-array multi-coil in 35 healthy volunteers. BOLD (T2 -weighted EPI sequence, 13 slices, 3mm thickness) were acquired during 5× 2 minute episodes alternating between room air and carbogen (95%O2/5 % CO2 ) breathing. All data were transferred to Siemens Leonardo Workstation and the signal intensity-time curve(SI-TC) of CZ and PZ were drawn. The SI-TC and the increasing rate of signal before and during carbogen were analysed statistically using SPSS 11.5. Results BOLD-MRI was carried out successfully in 30 volunteers. The signal intensity (SI) increased in normal CZ and PZ during carbogen. The increasing rate of SI of CZ was higher than that of PZ (t= 5. 392, P=0.05). Conclusion Intrinsic blood-tissue contrast-functional MRI during carbogen breathing is feasible and can reflect the signal changes of different anatomic zones.
