A new transmission scheme, which combines transmit preproeessing with multiuser MIMO downlink system over frequency-selective fading channel is proposed. Through the perfect design of transmit preproeessing weights based on the subearrier channel at the transmitter, this scheme decomposes the multiuser MIMO downlink system into parallel independent singleuser MIMO downlink system and asgures the good elimination of co-channel interference at each mobile terminal. Simultaneously, each mobile terminal obtains the maximum signal-to-noise ration of decoded symbol. In other words, minimizing the bit error rate of each user's transmitted symbols, based on the simple linear decoders.
