利用光合细菌处理有机污水是当前污水生物处理中的一种新方法。通过筛选,从污水中分离得到一株生长较快、适应性较强的光合细菌菌株,标记为PSB-B4通过菌落形态、培养特征和菌体形态学观察,细胞吸收光谱及生理生化特性测定,初步鉴定为类球红细菌(Rhodohacter sphaeroides)。对这一光合细菌菌株的培养条件进行优化研究,最终确定菌株PSB-B4的最佳培养基配方及培养条件为:酵母膏2.0g,乙酸钠4.0g,氯化铵2.0g,蛋白胨3.0g,磷酸氢二钾0.2g,硫酸镁0.2g,氯化钠1.25g,碳酸氢钠1.0g,蒸馏水1000mL,pH=7.0,培养温度28℃,光照强度4000Lux,其中酵母膏对其生长影响最大。
