Fly ash is one of industrial waste with good adsorption performances, taking full advantage of its adsorption properties not only can protect the environment, but also can achieve its high value-added use. From the viewpoint of the impact of fly ash on the environment, the research situation of fly ash adsorbent is reviewed, which emphasizes the urgency and feasibility of its development and utilization of depth, its application status in the field of waste water, waste gas, waste oil disposal and microwave-adsorbing materials are expatiated in detail, its existing problems are pointed out, its future direction of development is previewed.
