多维点位误差度量应该反映点的位置的不确定度,它可以是方差或方差的某种函数。实践中,有多种点位误差的表示形式,不同的表示形式有不同的几何意义或概率意义。文献[1]提出采用坐标分量方差的均值作为点位误差的度量。为了将其与现有点位误差度量进行比较,本文列出4种点位误差度量表达式,并讨论了它们的几何意义。强调指出,点位误差度量的具体数值应大于等于最大可能的误差,以保证用户使用数据的安全性。
The measure of multi-dimensional position should reflect the uncertainty of the coordinate. It could be the variances of the coordinate components or their functions. In practice, there area few measures for evaluating the position uncertainty. Different expressions coincide with different geometrical or stochastic meanings. A different measure which uses the average of the variances of coordinate components for evaluating the positional uncertainty isproposed in the reviewed paper [1]. Inorder to compare the mentioned measure and the existing measures, four kinds of measures are presented in this paper, and their geometrical meanings are analyzed. It is emphasized that the values of the positional uncertainty measure should be larger than any of the coordinate component variance, in order to guarantee the safety of the corresponding data for users.
