Whether the library buildings in university campus or the library buildings in the city are commonly known by their grandiosity and beauty. If they could be matched with unique library emblems to show their special cultural deposits, the library emblems would become libraries’ unique cultural brands. This paper expounds the important function of library emblem, and connecting with actual examples of some library emblems, appreciates and analyzes the implied meaning of library emblem, and probes deeply into the design and component elements of library emblem.
