In the process of performance management,the appraisal index are the basic references. Performance evaluation index are divided into three types-structural index,process index and result index. Based on the evolution of key evaluation index,performance appraisal of primary medical institutions in our country mainly has experienced four stages: the first stage according to the qualification,the second stage according to the income,the third stage according to the quantity and price,and the fourth stage according to the quality and cost. Recently,quantity and price are key evaluation index of primary medical institutions in our country.However,in the long term,quality and cost will be the key evaluation index.
