英文摘要：

Young editors of scientific and technical journals belong to a special group. In order to give full play to their ad-vantages and overcome their disadvantages,young editors must cultivate themselves with certain aims. This paper explores how young editors should carry out their self education and discusses it from three aspects,including setting right the value on the basis of current job,improving knowledge structure to cultivate professional consciousness and raising the quality in an all-round way. It is pointed out that only through the continuous improvement of their overall quality,can young editors of scientific and technical journals adapt to the industry development and gradually grow up as members of the main editing force.
