The effect of finite compressibility on the lamellar phase of diblock copolymers is studied in the Strong Stretching Limit (SST). The results are presented by comparing with those of the incompressible system. For the compressible system, the density profile is no more homogeneous in the both A and B domains. The compressing energy in each domain and the free energy results from the distribution of the free end is much smaller than the interracial energy and the stretching energy, and the latter two terms are still the dominant ones.
