It has been 20 years since the deregulation in Singapore power market started, and the reform goals has been achieved： competition in generation side and purchase choices for costumers, market-determined price and efficient allocation of power resources. The design and practice of the price mechanism could be good reference of power market reform in China. The characteristic of both the wholesale and the retail market is introduced, and the development of the electricity future market is presented, suggestions for the ongoing reform in China＇s power market are given in the end.
