In this paper, some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy subrings and intuitionistic fuzzy ideals are discussed by irreducible nested sets. And, in the sense of homomorphism and isomorphism between two classical rings, we define the concepts of the intuitionistic fuzzy quotient ring, quotient intuitionistic fuzzy subring and direct summation of intuitionistic fuzzy subrings, and some characters are discussed.
