论述了水声通信单载波频域均衡(SC-FDE)的基本原理、系统框架以及在SC-FDE系统中所采用的基于导频的最小平方(LS)信道估计方法。针对水声通信信道的特点,分别对SC-FDE和OFDM在相同多径效应和多普勒频移条件下的性能进行了分析,结果表明:在较高信噪比条件下,SC-FDE可比OFDM更有效地对抗多径和多普勒频移的影响。此外,SC-FDE还能克服OFDM存在的峰平功率比(PAR)过大的问题。该技术在水声通信中有良好的应用前景。
The basic principle and configuration of single carrier system with frequency domain equalizer (SC-FDE) are discussed. A channel estimator based on pilot and least square (LS) used in SC-FDE is described. Considering the characteristics of underwater acoustic channel, the performance of SC-FDE system and OFDM system are compared in the same condition of multi-path propagation and Doppler frequency-shift. The results show that when signal noise ratio is high,the performance of SC-FDE is better than that of OFDM to reduce the effect of multi-path propagation and Doppler frequency-shift. Furthermore, SC-FDE can overcome the problem of higher peak-to-average ratio (PAR) which exists in OFDM. SC-FDE is a promising technique used in underwater acoustic communications.
