目前,肥胖已成为严峻的公共健康问题。研究脂肪细胞分化的调控机制,将为治疗肥胖及相关疾病提供重要的理论依据。脂肪细胞分化是一个复杂的、多因素的调节过程,需要多种转录因子的参与。表观遗传是指DNA序列不发生变化,但基因表达却发生了可遗传的改变。DNA甲基化属于表观遗传学范畴,参与调控基因表达等多种生理活动。在脂肪细胞分化过程中,DNA甲基化通过调控脂肪细胞转录因子、辅助转录因子等的表达,调控脂肪细胞分化过程。文章综述了脂肪细胞分化过程中,DNA甲基化对其调控的研究进展。
Obesity has become a serious global health concern in recent years. Therefore, it is of significant importance to understand the mechanism of preadipocyte differentiation which is helpful to treat or relieve metabolic diseases. Adipocytes differentiation is a complicated process regulated by multiple factors. A series of transcriptional factors take part in the procedure, such as adipokine and so on. Epigenetics, a new area of studying the regulation of gene expression, has been defined as the study of heritable changes in gene expression that occurs in the absence of a change and diversification in the DNA sequence itself. DNA methylation belongs to epigenetics,participating in the regulation of gene expression and other physiological activities. In adipocyte differentiation, DNA methylation regulates the expression of transcription factors, transcriptional cofactors and other relative genes. This review will focus on the regulation of preadipocyte differentiation by DNA methylation in the process of preadipocyte progression and adipogenesis.
