Thispaper reviewed various factors act on the atmospheric corrosion of magnesium alloy among this, introduced single factor-NaC1 and both factors synergistic effect on atmospheric corrosion of magnesium alloy. Meantime, the influencing factors on galvanic corrosion of magnesium alloy and the content of A1 effects on the magnesium alloy were introduced. It also resumed several commonly used characterization methods about the study of magnesium alloy＇ s atmospheric corrosion.
