Firstly, the notion of fuzzy ideal bases are introduced, some important properties of fuzzy ideal bases are discussed, with the help of these properties, and three equivalent characterizations of the fuzzy ideal bases are given with the help of these properties. Secondly, the relationship between fuzzy ideal bases and fuzzy ideals is investigated by combining specific example. Finally, the ways that fuzzy ideal bases are generated by fuzzy sets and fuzzy ideals are generated by fuzzy ideal bases are given.
