The relative movement among the axis of figure, angular-momentum and rotation of the earth are researched with the methods of vector mechanics. Considering Murray's vector solutions of the Earth figure axis, principles and methods to select a suitable celestial reference pole were investigated, visualized analysis and discussions to select celestial ephemeris pole, celestial intermediate pole and non-rotating origin were presented.
